of substance abuse. Dr. Mejia
for more than 20 years has
served as Clinical Professor
in the department of Psychiatry
and Psychology of the most
prestigious medical schools
in Mexico. As past Director
of the Juvenile Integration
Center in Tijuana, he has
served as Psychiatric Consultant
for several Mental Health
Institutions in Mexico. Dr.
Mejia has also been a Forensic
Criminology professor at the
University of Guadalajara,
and is fluent in English.

1993 Dr. Gonzalez has been
in charge of overseeing the

and Chemical dependency programs
within Mexico. His bast experience

Dr.
Ramirez is also a school room
teacher and has worked with
adolescents and young adults
most of her professional life.
In addition to her successful
private practice, Martiza
worked at the Psychology Department
of the Instituto Mexicano
del Seguro Social Clinic 19
in Tijuana. During 1988 and
1989 she was the Chair of
the Student Affairs Department
of CETYS Universidad, a highly
regarded private University
in Baja California. Maritza
is also fluent in English.
As our Primary Therapist,
she provides individual and
family therapy. In 2005, Martiza
was named Clinical
Director, which expanded
her responsibilities to include
case management, supervision
of all clinical services and
program curriculum development.

Alma
received her PhD in
Clinical Psychology
from the Universidad de Sinaloa,
and has a Masters
Degree in Gestalt Psychotherapy.
In 1995 she finished her graduate
studies in Addiction Treatment
Techniques. Alma specializes
in working with clients suffering
from co-occurring disorders,
especially substance abuse
and addiction. She has extensive
experience working with individuals
in her private practice as
well as with couples and families.
